Mercy Refugees House Code of Conduct
Mercy Refugees House is a Non Profit Corporation registered in the United States, and its goal is to support refugees all over the globe regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, political association, gender,sexual orientation, or disability. The main financial source of this humanitarian non-profit organization will be public contributions from people.
Code of Conduct: I am a volunteer at Mercy Refugees House at my own will.
I shall adhere to the core values of the organization that are honesty, trust, and integrity. These values shall be my principle guidelines throughout my activities within the organization.
I attest that I have not participated in any terrorist activities or committed any crimes such as murder,rape, theft, or use of force against innocent civilians in the past.
I attest that I am not involved in any espionage activities for any domestic or foreign government,organization, or individuals who are also among the list of the United States sponsors of terrorism.
I attest that I have not participated in trafficking and dealing narcotic drugs, and I am free of any addiction to narcotic drugs and alcoholic drinks.
I attest that I have not committed any sexual molestation or harassment toward anyone in the past.
I attest that I will not participate in defamation, slander or libel in writing or verbally directed toward other volunteers at the Mercy Refugees House that would jeopardize the dignity and honor of individuals and the organization.
I attest that I would do my best to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the individuals and organizations’ data and internal information deemed secret and confidential.
I attest that I would not violate any of my commitments above while volunteering or working as a contractor or employee at the Mercy Refugees House at any place and at any time and will refrain from any activities that might damage the reputation of the organization.
I attest that in case of any violations of the terms mentioned above my association with the organization would cease and be terminated automatically and immediately and any dispute or legal action will be governed by the State of Washington in the United State of America.

Who Must Follow Our Code of Conduct? We expect all of our members of the Board of Trustees, Board of Executive Committees, Staff, and volunteers at every committee to know and follow this Code of Conduct. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or association.
