Rohingya Camp Security Gets Tough in A Few Camp Areas Although Law Enforcement Agencies Are Active- Reports Staff Journalist.
The Camp Clashes Raised the Question Whether Myanmar Govt. Plotted to Create Fight In Order to Declare the Rohingyas As ‘Terrorists’.
Staff Reporter
In this Corona situation, People are getting dissatisfied living in the camp because of the scarcity of proper food supply in time as the demand is ever-increasing since many thousands of small shops developed which affect the business chain in the way of supply and demand condition.
MD Israfil from Kutupalong camp reported that there is gun shot, fighting shouts, turmoil, beating and clashes among people.
Due to Lock Down and other issues, Local people believe that if there is scarcity of food in the camp, there will be limitless difficulties awaiting with the law and order system turmoil. People said we dont know whether this is created by Myanmar Government or not because if the Rohingyas are declared as terrorists , then they are ever happy.
Amir Hossen ( Hidden Name) told to our correspondence that ”There are 3/4 groups among Rohingyas who have been fighting against each other for last  2 months. Last 2/3 weeks it was normal but, then again  it got started last Thursday. Many people were injured and many houses  were burnt and broken in 3/4 camps. Whole night they were in operation  against one another while they were arresting each other too. Mean while, Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Police are patrolling in those camps zones at night. In day time if they get any unknown person they inquire and if they find anything fishy, they take him away and keep in a hidden place. Such situation is going on which is making things insecure . But this bad condition is not in every camp rather only in 3/4 camps areas.Camp 2,3, 6 and 7 are in tough condition so far.
Moreover, there are a lot of problems in the Rohingya Refugees Camps. Still, the most Alarming condition is that people are unaware of the dangers of land slides or hill slides. We have to be very cordial to secure the helpless people.Due to rainfall, people staying close to down hill are not safe because there are many incidents where it is proved lethal. Many homeless local people in Coxbazar got buried all of a sudden in recent years.Camp situation isn’t good either as there is a group of people who are involved in extortion and they are also kidnapping innocent people. Law enforcement agencies are trying to catch them too.
